> Would it make sense to you to dynamically remove the PV (rpvxs::server::Server::emovePV) and then add it again (pvxs::server::Server::addPV)? Would that produce unpredictable results?
Michael would know about the details of pvxs, but fundamentally you can stop the server, then restart it with the updated PV.
Clients will notice the disconnect, start searching for the missing PVs, and then connect to the newly started server where the PV now sends the updated structure during the initial steps of the subscription.
