Salut Ralph,
Even the EATON seems to support Modbus, Modbus TCP,
which is good.
I didn't dig to deep into their docu.
Is there a chance to get a description about the modbus registers ?

All,
We have been presented with designs that plan to use variable frequency
motor drivers.
Now, my question for the "ask the audience" lifeline is: Does anyone
know of an EPICS integration for one of those? The ABB unit claims to
speak Modbus, which sounds like a viable option.
