C2 Data Viewer: Visualization Tool for EPICS7 Data Streaming

Hi all, 

I'd like to announce a tool that we've developed and have been using for a while called C2 Data Viewer.  The viewer can be used for displaying live EPICS pvAccess and Channel Access data streams and has been instrumental for monitoring, troubleshooting and diagnostics.

It includes three different types applications: 

• A scope viewer for plotting pvAccess waveforms 

• An image viewer for displaying streaming Area Detector image data
  

• A striptool for monitoring Channel Access and pvAccess scalar PVs

To install and run:

$ pip install c2dataviewer

# start up image viewer and start displaying image data from a PV

$ c2dv --app image --pv <PV>
