If you are using base 7.0.7 and an older Linux compiler like RHEL 7 then libreadline will not be used by default. You can update base or edit a CONFIG_SITE file in base.

For unknown reason, most IOCs do have the functionality of using up and down arrow keys to navigate command history and left and right to navigate the line in which im writing:

but some other times, pressing up, left, down and right prints:

^[[A^[[D^[[C^[[B

But i couldnt find any major compilation difference between the applications. Am i missing something?
All my systems have libreadline-dev installed...
