Hi,

I am a EPICS beginner. I created an motor ioc and interfaced it successfully using CSS on three different occasions.

Next I tried to create a soft ioc to move my motors in the previous real motor ioc.

I am trying to create a soft ioc, I got this error message but could not figure out.

ecord "XF:19IDC-ES-G0{MD2:Pitch}Mtr" is of unknown type "motor"

Error at or before ")" in file "../../db/galil0_pitch.db" line 20

Error: syntax error

Do you have any suggestions.
