Alarms' timestamp in EPICS Base

Hello everybody.

 

I have a small question regarding the alarms in EPICS Base. Within a PV, is there any field that records the timestamp of when the alarm was raised? Or does that depend entirely on the "alarm server" and "alarm logger" services?
