Hi Kevin,

thank you for feedback.
I separated the motor database into two files, one is using the previous scheme requiring MRES and one new, which requires UREV. The reason was the easy support of high resolution steppers. This is more compatible with the known behavior of existing installations.

Best regards,
Lutz Rossa

Thanks for the pull request. I added a comment to the PR discussion. My only concern is related to the database that includes the motor record.

Kevin

Hi tech-talk people,

I worked on the Phytron support for EPICS motor, that should also
support the smaller Phytron MCC-1/MCC-2 controllers, which fits
better for single/dual axis applications. These controllers come
also with analog input(s) and digital I/O.

It was matter of my heart to support analog and digital I/O of the
phyMOTION controller. Bernhard Kuner from HZB does not want to
continue his work (issue #5), so I tried to implement these ideas
for both controller types.

For those, who have a Phytron controller, please look at
<https://github.com/epics-motor/motorPhytron/pull/8>
and give comments for this change.

Best regards,
Lutz Rossa
