Hi Jörn -

I’m not 100% certain, but looking at your syntax for selecting sources it seems that you need to separate the path from the git portion, something akin to

source:
  - git_url: git@XXXX:{{ name }}.git
    git_rev: 2.2.2
  - path: ../src

See https://docs.conda.io/projects/conda-build/en/stable/resources/define-metadata.html#source-from-multiple-sources

Cheers,

Simon

Subject: E3 conda recipe problem

Hello,

I am currently trying to create a recipe for one of my EPICS module to be installed using the E3 conda packaging methode.
Due to the fact that my repository is currently private, I can not use the package download only the git source is available.

My source definition in meta.yaml looks like:

source:
  git_url: git@XXXX:{{ name }}.git
  git_rev: 2.2.2
  path: ../src

The download of the source works, but the Makefile from the src directory does not get copied to the build directory.
What could be the reason for that?
The result is that the original Makefile from my module is used to build and that fails at the stage of the ioc build.
I tested with the recipe for iocstats as described in the documentation at https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://e3.pages.ess.eu/developer/recipes.html__;!!G_uCfscf7eWS!bU2qcFJwCiGcdtstMpr0jpSI5PGz1ZZYBlXQmJ2EbPRacIp1W9c_-lYHFJzMkBpShfaWY6_gACO-9ADKwRsKH6Y$ .
This recipe works and copies the content of the src folder into the work folder of the build directory after exracting the source of the iocstats module.
