I have not studied it in that much detail. Our databases add to over 100 MB
across about 36 IOC's. We rarely boot all of them at the same time. I think
the 1 MB is probably tolerable. I must say, however, that I like Alan's
idea of using zip to compress the ascii (optionally, of course).
