problems building epics

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to build 3.12 on a sun4 machine.  I have read and followed the
instructions.  I see the following:

banta@centurion-> gnumake
gnumake[1]: Entering directory `/home5/kapl/epics_new/r3.12.1/base
'fM: There is no configuration file for this architecture.
gnumake[1]: *** [dirs.sun4] Error 1
gnumake[1]: Leaving directory `/home5/kapl/epics_new/r3.12.1/base'


There certainly are configuration files for this architecture. I don't see
what the problem is.  Could gnumake have been installed incorrectly?
