mosub could be a useful addition to standard EPICS. I think any cases for
more or different types of inputs or outputs should be submitted to the
exploder in the hope that a single yasr (yet another subroutine record)
can be agreed on.

I hope that when you say "real" this means "double" and not "float". I
don't think floats should be used anywhere new.
