Fast screen hardcopy

I have created a (somewhat) fast way to do hardcopy dumps of screens to a
postscript printer.  For our Talaris 1794 printers, the dm "print display"
option can take over 5 minutes to put paper in hand.  xdpr takes about
1 minute but makes some colors invisible.  I have created a color to monochrome
tool that allows defining which (r,g,b) colors will be printed as black and
which will be printed as white; it puts paper in hand in about 1 minute.

If anyone is interested in the tool, contact me.  It is set up to use
Sun screendump files and runs as a dm "execute script" button.

Our operators want the output in hand in 15 seconds or less.  Color or gray
scale rendering of the screen is not required--monochrome is good enough.
If anyone can give me pointers to faster methods, I would really appreciate
the help!
