Last week I built R3.12.2 under Solaris.  Although the sequencer is
carrying version 1.9.0, in fact it is not the release of 1.9beta3
which included such features as "priority=" and unsigned variables,
as well as a few bug fixes.  Indeed, it hangs the cpu with a test
sequence.  It looks like what got included was an intermediate version
which added support for old-style event flags.  However, the beta3
appears to have been derived from an earlier source and does not incorporate
that.

I am going to put the beta3 into R3.12.2 and continue my tests.
