For ascii database format see the Application Developer's Guide.
Note that the format, except for record instances, changed between
3.12 and 3.13.

sf2db, the conversion tool from the DCT short form report to the new
record instance format is described via man pages supplied with
base. The man pages are also available via the EPICS WWW doc.
