Subject: passing macros from edd to dm?

We use macro substituion to allow database prototyping
among multiple developers on the the same ioc (so each can have their
own copy of the database to play with...). Using dm screens works
nicely with this, since it's possible to pass the macros in
as arguments. However, when prototyping, it's nice to be able
to activate dm screens directly from edd - except that there is no
way to pass the macro definitions from edd to dm.

Would it be possible to modify edd so that it passed any macros
it's given on to any dm screens that get activated? This would
save having to save the screen each time you wanted to test a
change.
