The syncronous time support already supports what you want.
It offers several options. One is to set up one ioc as
the master. All other iocs ca sync to the master.
Jim Kowalkowski wrote this support. The documentation
is available via the WWW. I dont remember which release
first had this support but certainly by 3.12 it was in place.
Please read the doc for all the available options.
Note that with hardware support you can have completely
synchronized time stamps across iocs.
