Agreed that the EPICS site should maintain links to the
most recent official distributions or distribution sites.
As far as the recipe I presented for building my local
version of et_wish, I never thought it was "official" and
so did not advise anyone about it. (Mostly because I had
temporarily removed support for EPICS waveform records
from my et_wish executable and also because I had not
considered Tcl-DP for the most recent compilation.)
