Hi Maren,
The first question to ask when the dm screens won't connect is:
Is the net mask on your ioc set to the same as the
netmask on your sun?
In the boot parameters the line
inet on ethernet (e) : 128.165.32.88:ffffff00
Should look something like the above.
The ffffff00 after the : tell
the ioc to accept broadcasts from inet addresses in the 128.165.32....
subnet.
Of course there are lots of other possible problems:
(a run away sequence at higher priority than channel access will
do it), but I would look at the netmask first.
