Subject: Problem with calc record

Hello all-

I have a set of four calc records, each of which is returning garbage.
When the IOC is first booted up, there is a reasonable value, but as soon
as the the sequencer accesses any of them, the value quickly changes from
something on the order of 40 to something on the order of 10e 28. The
next time they're accessed, the value becomes infinite. The records are
read from a template, and there are a total of eight copies. The other
four are fine. The only difference between the two sets of records is
that the values being read by the "normal group" are stabler. The
database reads in the following:

grecord(calc,"$(A)curr")
{
        field(FLNK,"$(A)compress.PROC PP MS")
        field(CALC,"(A-3277)/131.07")
        field(INPA,"$(A)flow.VAL PP MS")
        field(PREC,"2")
        field(HOPR,"400")
}

I have set up MEDM so that I can change the CALC field. Usually, the
value changes on the first pass, but the next time the sequencer accesses
the record, the value changes. The value of INPA does not fluctuate that
much.

I'm running EPICS 3.12.2 on an MVM167. Any suggestions?

						-Dennis
