Dear Sir:

I have make the EPICS base on Redhat6.2 successfully.

While downloading the vxWorks and EPICS database, the message is like this:

iocInit

IocLogClient:EPICS environment variable "EPICS_IOC_LOG_INET" undefined

iocLogClient:logging disabled

Starting iocInit

...

I have define the environment in .../EPICS/base/config/CONFIG_SITE_ENV, so I

add this line in CONFIG_SITE_ENV:

EPICS_IOC_LOG_INET=***.***.***.*** /* here is my IP address*/

then make the EPICS base again, and using makeBaseApp to have a new application,

this time whiling loading , the message is:

...

iocInit

iocLogClient:unable to connect to Linux:7004 because "error=0x39"

...

I am puzzled on this message, can anybody tell me what does that error message mean?

And I have another question about the board Td4v(used in Timing system)

This board uses A32/D32 mode, out CPU card is MVME162. and the board's base address is

set to 0x21000000 . But after makeing the Device support and downloading, it tells that

the board can't be found//thinkhard

Is there any confliction of the board base address settings? Any suggestion is appreciated.
