Another remark. This survey - as many others - never asks the question,
how many people are using their C++ environment mainly as (slightly
advanced) C compiler. Since none of the big compiler vendors sell you a
pure C compiler anymore, if you don't ask that question you may get a
quite distorted impression about the number of people actually
programming C++.
