At SSRL we are using Allen-Bradley L55 series PLCs (and FlexLogix PLCs--see my previous Tech-Talk message) with 1756-ENBT EtherNet/IP interfaces. We are using Kay Kasemir's driver ported to EPICS 3.14 by our controls group. We have tested with IOCs running Solaris, RTEMS and VxWorks, although for production we are now using Solaris. So far, we have not had any problems with the software (~1000 records, typically scanned at 1 or 2Hz).
