Hi Tim,

There are several other custom records in use at Gemini:

deviceControl:   For control of the OMS-58 and the older OMS-8/44.
                 Understands Gemini's command/action protocol.
assemblyControl: For control of a collection of "devices" that
                 must work together to perform a specific instrument
                 function. Where device can be thought of as a single
                 moving component. Understands Gemini's
                 command/action protocol and has built in simulation
                 and debugging modes.
coordinateMotionControl:
                 Supports simultaneous moves along 3 axes
                 for DC servo motors and steppermotors
                 controlled by an OMS-58. Understands Gemini's
                 command/action protocol.
cmdTimeout:      Checks if a command reaches a subsystem and sets
                 an appropriate error string if a timeout occurs.
                 Based on Gemini's command/action protocol.
load:            Supports the uploading and downloading of
                 command strings through the PMAC mailbox registers.
lutin:           Lookup table input record. Converts 4 input values
                 into a character string.
lutout:          Lookup table output record. Converts a character string
                 tag into 4 output values.
status:          Like an "mbbiDirect" but for 32-bits.
