I would explain what I did, but the response is bound to be "you shouldn't have done that".

Actually, it was pretty simple: the IOC that crashed was running one record, a sub array (with data type FLOAT) pointing to an array on another IOC (with data type USHORT). I restarted the second IOC, changing the data type of the array to FLOAT: *!bang!*

P.S. EDM is even easier to crash when changing arrays, and it doesn't seem to understand that subArray lengths are *meant* to vary!
