EDM NULL PV Question

Hello All,

If I create a text control widget in EDM with "PV" = pv1 and "Null PV" = 
pv2 I find that the displayed value is not in the Null Color even when 
pv1=pv2 if pv1, pv2 are type longout, longin.

Is this to be expected?

If I take the difference between the two PVs with a calc record and then 
use that as the Null PV and choose "Null PV = 0" then things work.
