We are using BluIce with EPICS on the Protein Crystallography beamline at the Australian Synchrotron. EPICS is used for all of the beamline (photon delivery system) controls, as well as a set of slits in the endstation. The "epicsgw" package supplied with the BluIce/DCSS system is used for communication between BluIce/DCSS and EPICS. We use the SSRL DHSs (device drivers) for a number of other devices on the beamline, including the detector, sample mounting robot and the goniometer. In effect, the EPICS system is treated as another DCSS "device". BluIce can read values from the EPICS system (such as mono energy or slit opening) and BluIce can also command changes to these values, which are then implemented by EPICS. I am not aware of a gateway that allows EPICS to read information from the BluIce/DCSS system. Cheers, Wayne Emmanuel Mayssat wrote: Hello again,
