Subject: 1785-ENET Device Support

Does anyone know if there is Epics device support for
 the Allen-Bradley 1785-ENET ethernet/ip module?

I would like to create a soft ioc that can talk to an
 Allen-Bradley PLC5 plc via a 1785-ENET sidecar module.

It would be interesting to know if anyone has adapted
the ether_ip module to work with older plc's like the
 Allen-Bradley PLC5.

I have a working test setup in my lab with a ControlLogix
 5561 PLC module & 1756-ENBT Ethernet/IP module that talks
to a soft ioc running on my Solaris box. I built the software
using Epics version R3.14.9 and ETHER_IP module 2-15-asd2.

We would like to upgrade the old "blue hose" AB-6008 scanners
that talk to our installed base of Allen-Bradley PLC5 plc's to
 1785-ENET ethernet modules.

 Regards--Jim S.
