Hello Sue,
I have been using the TVME200 IP Carrier for some time now without any
problems. However, now that you mentioned this I went back to look where
I was using them and if at all. I found out that the driver I'm loading
is the vipc616-01 with the board interrupts configured like 2 VIPC310's.
For the TVME200 board that means switch 3 is set to 2.
Although the documentation strongly recommends using the TVME200 driver,
I guess that I have not tried it yet.
Hope this helps,

Greetings!
Has anyone encountered problems using the Greensprings IP-Octal 232 card
with the TVME200 Carrier board? Everytime I go to access the card the
systems 'hangs'. The board access light goes on and I can't do anything
else on the ioc. I get the same behaviour whether I'm using
epics 3.13, Ipac and streams or asyn, Ipac and streamDevice from epics
3.14.8.2. I'm thinking the problem has to do with the interrupt handling
because I don't appear to be having any trouble reading an IP-ADIO card
or IP-Stepper card. They don't rely on interrupts.
Any Suggestions?
As always thanks in advance,
