So, I hear you're the man....

What I need is something that can take an Archive dataset, a list of
channels, and a time frame, and output a SDDS dataset that contains that
limited information.

We're starting to use the channelArchiver to do historical data
storage, and I need to figure out how to generate our compliance
reports.  They are usually done on a monthly basis, and based on what
I've read, it looks like I want to generate a SDDS datafile with the
data that the report needs.
