Hi Zen,

The  "helpObjects.edl"  should actually be installed outside of the 
source distribution and its loication defined by
the  "EDMHELPFILES" environment variable.

One way to have the helpFiles be automatically installed with the EPICS 
Make system is to introduce Makefile and rules
to  $EXTENSIONS_TOP/src/edm/helpFiles.  The same kind of thing should 
could be done for other things such as colors.list, etc...

Currently, things get setup in  
$EXTENSIONS_TOP/src/edm/setup/setup.sh.   Take a look at that script.
