I suspect that's the problem, the podchecker and pod2html programs that come
with Perl 5.8.2 (which is now over 5 years old) are not compatible with the
options I'm using. Since I think this is the very last thing that normally
gets built in Base, you could just ignore the failure, or comment out the
HTMLS= line from the cap5/Makefile to prevent it from happening again.
That file is available on the EPICS website from the R3.14.10 page, or if you
were to build the same copy of Base on an architecture with a later version
of Perl *before* you build for RHEL-4 then I guess it wouldn't need to try
and build it there as well.
