Yes, I'm rather sorry about that phrase there.  My mailing was based on something I did a few months ago, which was itself a response to an inquiry by somebody else, and I don't remember why we were so dismissive about CaPython -- I think the impression was that it had fallen into disuse, but it looks like I need to make my list of Python CA bindings a little bit longer!
