According to the Supported Hardware list entry here
http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/modules/bus.php#PCI%2dVME%20%28Linux%29
the CLS contact for the Struck SIS3100 driver is Russ Berg. I may have a copy
of the code somewhere myself but it's not in the obvious places and it would
be out of date by now anyway.
I think the most important thing is to ensure that the new version is fully
pluggable at run-time. I like the idea of separating the buses into separate
headers.
