Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System

Hello Matthias,
I heard from others they had to give up running the ChannelArchiver2 on
Solaris, because getting the required libraries and tools running on
Solaris was close to impossible, and just getting a Linux box to run the
archiver on was a lot easier and less expensive.
So - if yours works fine, it would be great to have the set of version
numbers for the required parts ... :-)
Thanks a *lot*,
Ralph

Hi Ralph,
yes we're running the channel archiver on our Solaris cluster.
Do you have any specific question?
Otherwise: It works fine for us ;-)) (this might not be the
information you're looking for...)
