LabVIEW Native Channel Access for EPICS
Observatory Sciences Ltd. have released an Alpha version of a LabVIEW
native Channel Access client (LANCE). The client has been tested using
both Linux and Windows LabVIEW but should also work on any platform
supported with LabVIEW 2009.
The client is supplied as a set of VIs and no additional code, libraries
or
LabVIEW modules are required; it has been implemented using only LabVIEW
base facilities. The initial version provides caget, caput and
camonitor capabilities for single value strings, doubles and integers.
The client VIs and associated documentation can be downloaded from the
Observatory Sciences Ltd website at
http://www.observatorysciences.co.uk/labview_downloads.php
in .tar.gz or .zip format.
