I use stream to do just that.
PCRE (support for regular expression) needs to be compiled in to grab values between tags. (i.e. <epics_val1>45.6</epics> somewhere on the webpage)
Your webpages may be complicated (all in one, java, flash, etc), but if you control the webserver, you can create simple webpages to interface specifically with your epics driver.
