Hi, Mark.

Not a method for figuring out what's wrong, but some possible things you
might try or consider:

Windows Firewall?

Virus scan software?

BNL auditing software?

Automatic backup?

Is there anything in the Windows event logs?

Differences between OS or applications between the two computers?

Can you force the clients to use the loopback network device and see if
they still have the problem?

If you run camonitor against a PV from the local IOC, does it lose its
connection too?

Any error messages from the CA clients?

If you run a simple TCP/IP ASCII "echo" server and connect to it w/ a
TCP/IP client (e.g. Telnet), does that connection get terminated at the
same time as the CA clients?
