Hi Andrew,

Hi Timo, Kay, and others using SourceForge,

Kay and Michael Davidsaver are using some of the facilities at SourceForge reasonably well with their projects, but the SF EPICS project page above has a link to the website http://epics.sourceforge.net/ that contains no content other than the default SF boiler-plate. Just keeping code in a public cvs/svn/hg/git/darcs repository is rarely sufficient to make it useful; is anyone (Nick?) planning to ever tell the world what the EPICS project at SourceForge is for?

Looking through the repository browsers at the SF:EPICS project there do appear to be quite a few modules there, but no one would ever know the extent of them unless they deliberately go hunting. The Files area does contain releases for some modules, but by no means all (and it doesn't include a copy of the MCA 4.2 release).

</rant>, sorry...

I got your point and agree. Unless Nick wants to do that, I volunteer to set
up an index page to list the projects that are hosted there (and I know of)
and provide links to the documentation, in case something is there. Others
can then improve that.
(I am really bad at html, css and such things. So please be prepared to
see very basic style there...any help will be appreciated.)

I have also to figure out how to work better with the SF site, how to create releases etc.
The MCA 4.2 got there just yesterday, so I simply did not yet have the time to do it.

best regards,

Timo
