Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System

Hi Zenon, I have developed epics support for the OceanOptics spectrometers here at the CLS and it is being used by a couple other labs. So far I have used it with the USB4000 and the QE65000. I can send you the driver I have put together, but it makes use of the Omnidriver package and you will have to buy that from OceanOptics. The latest version of this driver that I have uses the Omnidriver 1-5, have you already bought this? David Here at SLAC we are using the Ocean Optics USB 4000 Spectrometer device. Presently we only have their application for controlling it. The users are rather unhappy with it and are asking for EPICS application. Has anyone developed an EPICS driver for this device? If so, could it be made available? Thanks in advance, Zen |
