Hi All,

I am new to EPICS and trying run thru the example applications.   Specifically, I am encountering the following error  when attemping to Channel Access Host Example per the procedures in Section 2.3 of the EPICS Application Developer’s Guide.

I’ve successfully built EPICS base (3.14.12.1) via EPICS_HOST_ARCH = cgwin-x86.    The steps do not mention anything about a caRepeater.   Looks like I’m missing something really subtle (as an EPICS “new-bie”).  Any help/assistance/info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Florencio Cid
