To get rid of the carepeater error messages just put the
path to epics-base/bin/cygwin-x86 in your PATH environment variable.
The timeout error is another problem. Are you running an
IOC that contains the PV ai1?

I’ve
successfully built EPICS base (3.14.12.1) via EPICS_HOST_ARCH =
cgwin-x86. The steps do not mention anything about a
caRepeater. Looks like I’m missing something really subtle
(as an EPICS “new-bie”). Any help/assistance/info will be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks
in advance,
Florencio Cid
