Subject: RE: Problems with executing caExample for 3.14.12.1
To
get rid of the carepeater error messages just put the path to
epics-base/bin/cygwin-x86 in your PATH environment variable.
The
timeout error is another problem. Are you running an IOC that contains
the PV ai1?
Mark

I’ve successfully built EPICS base (3.14.12.1) via
EPICS_HOST_ARCH = cgwin-x86. The steps do not mention
anything about a caRepeater. Looks like I’m missing something
really subtle (as an EPICS “new-bie”). Any help/assistance/info will be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Florencio Cid
