Sorry for not having more complete documentation on all this.

I called it pyepics3 because it was my third version of python epics
channel access code.   It does work with both Python2 and Python3.
I'm still using Python2 myself, and pyepics is much better tested with
Python2, but I do test with Python3.

It's probably not an exact replacement, but it's meant to have the
same idea.   There might be missing features, but somethings might be
better than StripTool. A screenshot of the python StripChart is
attached.  Again, sorry for the lack of documentation.

This (and the other GUI code with pyepics) uses wxPython.  I'm sure it
would be possible to use pyepics with PyQt but I haven't done any work
with PyQt, mostly for lack of time.
