Absolutely.
Isn't that's exactly what it does?
It shows what the data browser gets from
* the Channel Archiver's network data server
* an RDB-based archive data source
* another data source that your site may have implemented
* live data that the data browser has accumulated
If you change the request type between "Optimized" and "Raw data",
you can see the difference.
If you zoom in far enough and your data source then automatically
switches to raw data, you see that.
It's the tool for debugging what the data browser receives.
If you want to see where the data is coming from,
you have to check who's sending the data:
How is the Channel Archiver's network data server generating
those samples?
What is the data in RDB tables?
There is a limitation in this client/server setup as to how
far you can go:
The data browser and its sample inspector just shows what it
receives. It cannot see the underlying Channel Archiver index or data
files,
it won't show RDB tables.
