Is there a detailed explaination on how to do it? Presumably, one should use X-server (Xming).
How do you usually run EDM files?"
Here is what we do: "Run" edm on linux, "Display" on windows using XWin32 or Xming.
I should point out that Xming is free and works, but there are issues. When you open a 'related display,' it shows up in focus, but when you open it again, it does not open, nor does the existing window go into focus.
That can be annoying in the control room, where screens are cluttered.
XWin32 is better but costs money, plus there is the overhead of keeping it up-to-date.
In the control room, it's worth it.
