Hi,
Just to let you know, I have successfully connected EPICS to the S7-300 PLC (CPU317-2 PN/DP) using the latest version of s7nodave (http://oss.aquenos.com/epics/s7nodave/download/s7nodave-1.0.1.tar.gz).
The connection is established via a built-in Profinet port. Don't know how it works on the CP module, though. But am planning to check it out! For those who have used s7nodave, do you see any pros in comparison with s7plc?
As I can see s7nodave establishes connection to port 102 (ISO-over-TCP). Whereas, s7plc can have a number of connections simultaneously (on different TCP ports). Or am I missing something?
