You can do that with a Channel Access link.  The exact syntax depends on the record type, but something like the following:

record (ai, "MyLocalRecord") {
    field(INP, "MyRemoteRecord CP MS")
}

This will make the value of MyLocalRecord be fetched from MyRemoteRecord every time MyRemoteRecord posts a channel access monitor.

I need to put the value of a record within another record. The problem is that they are stored in different data bases and different IOCs a swell.

I have read about it in the documentation but I do not have a clear idea about how I have to define the record in my data base to do this.
