I am forwarding this issue to tech-talk. Maybe someone there has an idea? The
attached picture shows the messages from the IOC.
Is the loopback interface configured? Is it up? (ifconfig)
Is the log server running? Is it listening on the right port? (ps / netstat)
Good luck,

Hi, Ben,
Thank you for your reply.
It seems it's not related to "firewall". I've disabled the firewall,
but the error still exsited.
I even enabled the firewall and open the port 7011 as "/sbin/iptables -I
INPUT -p tcp --dport 7011 -j ACCEPT", it still didn't work.
My soft IOC server and client is on the same Linux/PC, is it OK?

Hi, Ben Franksen,
I’m trying to run CaPutLog on my RedHat Linux PC, but it showed the
following error when I run the "st.cmd”. Do you know what’s wrong
with it?
The log client on the IOC cannot connect to the log server. The error
message clearly says why: "Connection refused". This is a question of
your system's setup. One reason could be that you have a firewall
running on your machine ("localhost"). Try configuring it to allow the
caPutLog port (7011 by default).
Cheers
Ben
