I am using NeXus plugin from EPICS Area Detector.
I managed to save others EPICS PVs by configuring the XML files, but for waveforms it didnt work.
Is there a way to do this with these tools?

Which tools are you using?
EPICS Area Detector?
Python code?

It is generally possible to collect a waveform record from EPICS and
write it to a NeXus data file with client programs written in various
languages such as C++ or Python.
