Since you probably need to set $(ADCORE) and $(QUADEM) differently for
Linux and Windows anyway, what about $(SEP)?
epicsEnvSet("EPICS_DB_INCLUDE_PATH", "$(ADCORE)/db$(SEP)$(QUADEM)/db")
or $(:)
epicsEnvSet("EPICS_DB_INCLUDE_PATH", "$(ADCORE)/db$(:)$(QUADEM)/db")

Is there an OS-independent path separator available for use when setting
EPICS_DB_INCLUDE_PATH?
I have this line in my startup script:
epicsEnvSet("EPICS_DB_INCLUDE_PATH", "$(ADCORE)/db:$(QUADEM)/db")
I used a colon as the separator. This works on Linux and VxWorks.
However, it does not work on Windows. I then changed the colon to a
semicolon. That works on Windows but not on Linux.
There is no discussion of this in the EPICS Application Developer’s Guide.
Thanks,
Mark
